Would you like to experience the process first hand and create your own personalized ring?
Welcome to the art of wax carving, a method used throughout history to create base forms for precious metal artifacts and jewelry castings.
Led by Tina Gunnarsson this course will introduce you to the basics of ring carving and design. You will learn how to use wax carving tools, design methods and bring to life a personalized ring of your own design to be realized in sterling silver.
A social and bubbly atmosphere with a group of no more than 6 people and a dedicated tutor for questions and answers.
Duration: 2-3 hrs
Number of places: Up to 6 people
Costs: 150chf per person
The cost Includes wax, use of tools, silver, casting, snacks and refreshments.
Please Note: The price of silver is included for one ring at the weight of 9 grams per person. Larger ring sizes are negotiable at additional cost for the extra weight at the current value of silver.
